ACID WASH
An acid wash may be required if a pool had not been in use for extended periods of time, has excess algae build up, or discoloration or staining that cannot be rectified by other methods. The process involves draining the pool, cleaning down the entire surface with a dilute solution of hydrochloric acid and stabilising compounds. The pool is then pressure blasted cleaned, refilled, balanced, and started up.
